My name is Stephanie Marie Hudson-Rosenmund. I am pleased to meet you, and thank you for checking out my "About Me" page.
My birthdate is November 20, 1971, and I am the mother of one teenage young man. He is a handful, but aren't all 16-year olds an interesting mix of adult and child? My son is a self-pronounced "momma's boy", and he is definitely the light of my life.
Kitty Cats Everywhere!
Currently, we have 7 cats of various ages. Each one brings something interesting to the home, and I am looking to rehome two of the 4-month old kittens we rescued. We have Akita, she is a siamese and the elder cat of the home. There is Stewy and Mystic. Both cats we bottle fed, and subsequently kept for our own. They are now almost 18-months old. They also have the pleasure of being polydactyl cats!
There is Percy, and he is a little of 2-years old. A huge tom cat with a heart of gold. His greatest joy is resting his head in our hands and getting his cheeks rubbed. Percy found us as a kitten. My son showed up with him one day, and his owners had left him out in the cold because they decided he was destructive. I have never been witness to anything "destructive" in his nature.
Then there are the three kittens - Goldy, Rascal, and Patches. We foster kittens for the local humane society, and these three are the results of our fostering. Rascal and Patches need to be rehomed because I do not feel I can give them all the love and affection they need to thrive. Very friendly, and full of love and vinegar.
Education for Me!
Currently, I possess an associated in business management, and am almost finished with a bachelors in software engineering. Interesting stuff!
My love is learning. I take every moment possible to learn whatever I can, whenever I can. Regardless of the topic, I have an opinion. If I do not have an opinion, I will research information to learn.
Life is a school, and I am just getting started!
My Dreams
Everyone has dreams, and yes, even I have a few of my own. I want to own my own home some day. I would love to stay in the northwest or even Alaska. Currently, we live in idaho, but I want to go further west. Perhaps to the coast.
I will someday have a published book. While I have gotten offers before, I was not pleased with the deals offered. The topic has to be special to me, and of course, I have to find the time. Time is the one thing I do not seem to have an abundance of, but does anyone really have enough time to do what they want?
Dreaming of the Future ,
